Therapy is an investment in your time, energy, and finances. I want the financial side to feel as clear as possible before we begin.

Thriving Therapy and Residential Services, PLLC offers private-pay services and accepts select commercial insurance and North Carolina Medicaid plans.

Private Pay

Individual Therapy

$165 per 53-minute session

Private pay allows you to receive therapy without using insurance benefits. Payment is due at the time of service.

Some clients choose private pay for greater privacy, flexibility, or because they prefer not to use their insurance benefits.

Out-of-Network Benefits

If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still have out-of-network mental health benefits that reimburse a portion of your therapy costs.

Upon request, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Before beginning therapy, consider asking your insurance company:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible?

  • How much is reimbursed for a 53-minute psychotherapy session after my deductible is met?

  • Do I need prior authorization?

  • How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?

Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and cannot be guaranteed.

Using Insurance

Thriving Therapy and Residential Services, PLLC is in-network with select insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan, so your benefits will be verified before services begin.

Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for a copay, coinsurance, deductible, or other patient responsibility.

Insurance participation and benefits may vary by specific plan. Coverage will be verified before your first therapy session.

Medicaid clients are welcome here.

If you plan to use Medicaid, your coverage and eligibility will be verified before services begin. This allows us to confirm that your coverage is active and that Thriving Therapy is able to bill your current plan.

Using Medicaid?

If you have an accepted Medicaid plan and are eligible for covered services, your Medicaid benefits will be used according to your plan. You do not need to choose private pay simply because a $165 private-pay fee is listed on this website.
